The second problem is the prominent join line between the sections of the upper works - a couple of them are shown held together in the picture to illustrate the issue. The front of the superstructure would be fairly easy to fill, but the sides need to have the support posts for the deck above fitted, which would make subsequent filling of the joint line impossibly difficult. Note here not only the joint line, but a very bad mismatch between the two halves of the mould for the lower section has resulted in that prominent recess at the bottom, which will also require smoothing out. The picture highlights that awful guard rail!
