The new chassis is almost complete. The brakes have been temporarily removed, the frames primed and painted and the wheels, motor and gearbox fitted. With the driving wheels in place, the coupling rods could be fitted and the wheels quartered.

The electrical pick-ups have not yet been fitted, but the wires to the motor can be connected direct to the power supply for testing.
