A close up of the "chassis". The paintwork is tarnished from the tape used to hold the wires in place and paint has been scraped off to unsolder the brake rigging prior to fitting P4 wheelsets. It will be thoroughly cleaned and repainted prior to re-assembly, although completely hidden once the body is refitted.
